Dear Clients
We have been busy bees in the last month or so. Lots of staff training, entering Awards, R & D for a new skincare and treatment range, with Elemis arriving soon... so read below and catch up on all our news!
August is our quietest month in the year with so many of our clients on holiday. We need a full Salon - so "bag a bargain" this month. See Promotions... now is the time to try a treatment you have never had before, with one of our fab offers.
Don't forget to pack Clarins sun products, with new and innovative ones for you to try, including SOS Sunburn Soother, Spray Radiant Oil UVB 6 for Hair & Body etc. We know it's more expensive, but articles in the newspapers have shown that cheaper brands do not offer the protection they advertise. MONDAY - SALON OPENING
The Salon is now back opening again on Mondays, with the exception of Mon 8 Sept 2008 (see below).
THE BRITISH BEAUTY & SPA AWARDS 2008
After winning Clarins Gold Salon of the Year, in June I decided to enter the British Beauty & Spa Awards 2008, competing against every Salon in the UK.
We entered four categories: Customer Care Award, Marketing Award, Midlands & North East Salon of the Year and Salon Director of the Year. We had to submit an in depth written application for each one and trust me it was very hard work.
Last month we received in the post four letters stating "after an intense judging process, you have been selected as a finalist in all four categories" The winners are announced at a Gala Ball on 7 September 2008, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London and the PW Cinderella's are "going to Ball" ... wish us luck!
MONDAY 8 SEPT 2008
The Salon will be closed as we will still be in London, having attended the above ball (and suffering hangovers and aching feet!!!).

We are delighted to announce we will be launching Elemis Skincare Treatments at Pretty Woman from w/c 25 August 2008. Elemis have excellent innovative treatments and products with proven results, which we know you will really enjoy trying. As one of the leaders in Spa treatments both in the UK health farms and on the cruise liners, this brand is fast emerging as "the one to watch". We already have two experienced Elemis Therapists - Gemma and Kathryn, and treatments will be available from the first week in September.

We said goodbye in July, to Gemma Hollington our Reception Manager for almost three years. Her dream is to work in childcare & she needs to free up her evenings in order to go to college. Thank you for all your hard work Gemma - good luck.
Sarah McAllister who has been with us for the last 3 months, is our new Salon Manager. She is a beauty therapist , a former salon owner and brings with her a wealth of salon experience.
